Fetish mirrors, “Play the cards”, my exhibition

Expo

This series of photos draws its origin from the symbolic of playing cards with visual and graphic codes… Like creative mirrors between post-cubism and post-pop art, this photo series is a very personal interpretation of playing cards through aesthetic exploration. Actually I was inspired by playing cards from many different countries.

From Marie de Médicis to Andy Warhol, playing cards have always had their place in mundane salons, exalting convictions, stimulating debates, blurring reality, allowing winners and losers, draining adrenaline. King, queen, jack, heart or spades, tarot figures, cards reflect an era, symbolizing chance or misdeals in society.

Exhibition from the 9th of June to the 16th of June from 12h30 à 19h at Studio Opéra.
