My small reading secret

Check Point

I don’t like reading in a sitting position, it’s much better lying down, nestled under a comforter. I read about 3 to 5 books per week, and my methods are quite different depending on whether the reading is personal or professional.

I learned how to read diagonally at a rather young age, thanks to my father who is a literary critic, but also through my profession as reader and editor, which implies being able to judge in just a few pages the literary potential of a book. But a good book is generally the one that makes you want to enjoy each word, so I read these from the first to the last page, earmarking each striking passage.
