Guilo Guilo in the 18th arrondissement. Because one is perched at the kitchen counter, elbow-to-elbow, whispering in order not to bother the cooks who are preparing the festivities a few inches away. But it’s mostly a kaiseki restaurant in the pure sense of the term: you never know what you are going to eat yet you fall in love with each mouthful.
For my grocery shopping, I love going to Kioko, in the 2nd arrondissement of Paris.
Even if I am quite upset when I no longer have ponzu sauce or fish vinegar, I also go for the small pink biscuits shaped as pandas or raisin cotton candy...
