Between the stolen snapshots of Martin Parr, showcasing tourists and Parisians taken by surprise, and the paparazzi photos of Bruno Mouron and Pascal Rostain, the Maison Européenne de la Photographie presents two « instant » exhibitions.
The first stop is dedicated to the British photographer who for two years took photos of Parisian life such as farniente moments at Paris Plage, the front row of fashion week and onlookers at the Salon de l’Agriculture. Funny kitch images, even caustic.
Next stop, the very people exhibition by two Paris Match photographers retracing their famous preys such as Mick Jagger, Liz Taylor and Yves Saint Laurent. Amazing, the room dedicated to participative works, an occasion to scribble a photo of Naomi Campbell or pick up the « 06 » of Kate Moss !
The hot tip? The museum entrance is free on Wednesday from 5pm to 8pm.
