No need to introduce Catherine Kluger, who traded in her lawyer’s robe for a chef’s apron. Just bringing to mind her famous tart instantly sparks the appetite of foodistas.
Since several months, a Kluger trailer is parked at the BHV. Here is a very good reason if you needed one to go along with your boyfriend next time he goes shopping.
After passing through the store, you arrive in a pretty secret courtyard sheltered by a canvas top, so you can take advantage of the garden even on rainy days.
Behind the window display, we admire the pretty tempting tarts. No just take your pick between a very couture lemon meringue pie, the chocolate pie or the wild cheesecake whose creamy onctuosity is a delight. And if you have a hard time deciding, some pies come in miniature format (2,50 €), so you can taste several flavors without feeling guilty.
And of course their standard salty tarts such as the chicken basquaise, the zucchini and feta cheese sprinkled with parmesan like a crumble or the twisted carrot lemon with coriander, for lunch.
Good news : starting Friday 7 June, the tart truck is going to roll through the streets of Paris.
Salty tart + dessert 9 €, salty tart + arugula salad 9 €
