While Pharrell Williams has dedicated a song to her in his latest album, no less than two galleries have put the spotlight on Marilyn. Proof that 50 years after her death, the pin-up with the mythical beauty mole continues to make heads spin.

Thus, in the Marais, Gallery Taglialatella, which specializes in pop-art, unveils works signed by masters of the style, having as subject the platinum blond. Silk screened by Andy Warhol, « cartooned » by Robert Indiana (the creator of the cult Love sculpture in New York), and even sprinkled with diamond dust by Russel Young, the canvases feature a very colorful Marilyn!

Galerie Square’s in Neuilly-sur-Seine is showing many photos, amongst which several ones taken during her last sitting by fashion photographer Bert Stern just before the actress died. A handsome tribute to the glam’ icon and to her portraitist who passed away last year.
