The most inflated: Jeff Koons at Beaubourg

Jeff Koons A Beaubourg

Shocking! After creating the buzz with his XXL lobster, hanging in the middle of the salon de Mars in Versailles, Jeff Koons now has a retrospective at Beaubourg.

And you really get an eyeful with his pop and off-the-wall iconography that is borderline kitsch. A hundred furiously « ridicool » paintings and sculptures retrace the 35-year career of one of the most bankable artists of the moment.

We loooove: his famous Balloon Dogs, his XXL Hulk, revealing his quasi pathological obsession for inflatable objects. But also his works with Cicciolina, the X-rated Italian artist, who was his muse before becoming his wife. And his more ancient installations, allegorical critics of American society according to him…

Completely wild, the Jeff Koons invasion continues at BHV/Maris where his painting featuring Popeye covers the  façade.

Jeff Koons, the retrospective, from 26th of November 2014 to 27th of April 2015, from 11am to 9pm every day except on Tuesday. Late night until 11 pm on Thursday, Friday and Saturday night.
