For sure 2014 is off to a colorful start with an exhibition and a capsule collection dedicated to the king of Pop Art.
To begin with, Galerie Taglialatella, specialist of the 60s arty movement, pays homage to its fetish artist with a retrospective around 50 pieces to be discovered in the Marais. Cult works such as the silkscreened dollars, the banana and colorful portraits of celebs are displayed next to less well known works.
In terms of fashion, Diane Von Furstenberg celebrates the 40 years of her wrap dress with a mini-collection to benefit the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts. Amongst the spotlight pieces, the iconic wrap dress of course, twisted with the « Flowers », but also a pullover featuring the designer and friend of the Factory.
