Rose de Reims cake biscuits
Ingredients for 8 persons :
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Resting time: 1.5 days
-36 rose de Reims biscuits
-200g butter, softened
-150g sugar
-3 eggs
-2 to 3 tablespoons of rum
Frosting:
-200g chocolate, melted
-20g butter
Step 1. The day before, break up the rose biscuits into pieces and make a powder using a mixer. Add the butter, sugar, eggs and the rum ---mix all together. Line a loaf mold with plastic wrap (for easy removal).
Step 2. Pour the rose biscuit mixture into the mold, making sure the bottom is firmly packed. Leave in the refrigerator overnight.
Step 3. The next day, remove the cake from the mold onto a plate. Melt the 200g of chocolate with a little butter. With a spatula, frost the cake about 5mm high of chocolate. Put it back in the refrigerator and let sit for at last half a day.
Step 4. Remove from the refrigerator 10 minutes before serving and cut into thin slices.
