A Brazilian in Avignon
The famous Brazilian artist, Vik Muniz, is having a show in Avignon until 13 May. Well-known for his recomposed portraits, he turns materials into a work of art. Chocolate, jam, caviar, diamonds or kids’ toys, he uses everything he finds to recompose cult images of stars: Marylin Monroe, Marlene Dietrich, Greta Garbo… A great work of illusion !
