A haven or peace in the Caribbean

Time seems to be at a standstill on this Island right in the middle of the Turks and Caicos archipelago. The Parrot Cay, unique hotel of this inlet, is a pure marvel or well-being and refinement.  A long vista of white sand and transparent waters with pretty shades of turquoise, lapis lazuli and celadon green, such is the amazing landscape of this  5 star hotel.

With a colonial inspiration, the different buildings play with the colors of the… White, wood and blue. The rooms are very pleasant and spacious, ideal for a discrete stay. Here no noisy activities, the idea is to take one’s time for a little R&R.

In keeping with its style, the Como Shamballa chain is very attached to well-being. Both restaurants offer a light and healthy cuisine with an AsiaN touch. The is a pure marvel with an almost  monastic silence and various treatments with techniques on the border of excellence. And to stay in the « well-being » mode, yoga and meditation courses are given every morning by Dr Pradeep, an absolutely incredible Indian, facing the sea.

We were less enthusiastic about: the Island service, always a little slow.
