Before, Sénéquier was the café on the famous harbor to see and be seen. Since more than 70 years, from Picasso to Karl Lagerfeld including Jacques Chirac and Kate Moss, they all came to sip a glass on the cult red and white terrace rouge. However, their expensive ready-made were not up to par…
But that was before. Since the, the business was bought back in 2012 by a seasoned restaurateur from the Auvergne region, and now offers bistro cuisine (big boss of La Palette, the café is now also THE place to eat. The chic brasserie menu begins in the morning with a wide array of options (eggs, viennoiseries, fruit salad…) with of course burgers, club sandwiches, salade niçoise at lunch and other more refined dishes served until 2am, even out of season.
And of course: their soft nougat, a house creation to pick up in the boutique corner to bring home a little Holiday touch.
