- What do flashy colors bring to our makeup? Is it a real trend?

With Summer and the holiday season ahead, florescent colors are going to bring a touch of peps to our makeup. But watch out when and how you use them. The most modern way to use them is in small touches-- on nails, mouth or eyes. From flashy green to blue lagoon as well as bright orange and check yellow, color is definitely the indispensable makeup accessory this season.

- What are the colors to banish in order to avoid the 80's look?

The modern expression of these colors resides essentially in subtle harmony. Play at putting together cold color hues. For example: a superb green hue (eyeshadow p550) on the mobile eyelid, underlined by a blue lagoon (me600 eyeshadow) under the lower eyelashes. With this look, the trick is to barely color the mouth and touch up the complexion with a peach or apricot blush (blush p47).
If you prefer a fluo lip look, don't add any color on the yes but lots of black mascara (« Precise Volume » black mascara).
The combo to avoid for a return to 80's: blue and pink

- The beauty faux-pas to avoid in terms of hair color and skin complexion?

If you are a read head, avoid the contrast with cold blue green colors. On the contrary, it's best to favor orange, yellow and red.
For blonds, play the cobalt blue and lagoon green tropical color card. As for brunettes, you have more options at your disposal and can have fun mixing warm and cold colors, but avoid mixing them all together. The trend is not ending up like a rainbow! To be tested asap, lemon yellow (m360 eyeshadow) enhanced by black eyeliner (black « Drawing Pencil ») inside the entire eye.
