Odnajdy ..." Once upon a time ... Alexeï Vassiliev "

After losing his native city of Moscow to the collapse of the USSR, Alexeï Vassiliev took refuge in France. In the midst of this chaos, he remembers the uncanny shop windows, the abandoned churches, the large empty streets, the Stalinist metro stations, the nights of drinking... all of which had a tremendous effect on his life and suddenly vanished without a trace. Walking through the streets of Paris provided the time to reflect on his past and eventually reconcile with Moscow. He then was able to fly back to his city for sporadic visits and reunions. The exhibition entitled, Odnajdy are photos taken between 1995 and 2002 during these trips back to Moscow. They are traces of the past, fragments of his daily life and bits of himself.  Alexeï Vassiliev finally reveals himself.
