A not to be missed auction

Newsartdevi041013 Des Ventes Aux Encheres A Ne Pas Louper 500

The famous pleated tops signed Issey Miyake, a pretty little Kenzo jacket, an ultra structured Comme des Garçons raincoat of an oversized Yohji Yamamoto, dress here is a small sampling of the different items up for auction on Monday 7 October in the framework of a sale dedicated to Japanese designers.

Before bidding, go check out the public showing, for a retrospective of the avant-garde years that put the designers from the country of the rising sun in the spotlight.

On the block also: furniture from the Plaza Athénée. The ultra chic avenue Montaigne hotel has just closed its doors for a few months for some renovation work. An  occasion for us to get our hands on a  red bicycle, table settings from Alain Ducasse’s gourmet restaurant or armchairs designed by Patrick Jouin.

Mode Nipponne III, exhibition on 5 October from 11am to 6pm and on 7 October from 11am to noon

Sale on 7 October 2013 at 2pm

Plaza Athénée, exposition 4 to 6 October from 10am to 8pm, sale on 7 and 8 October 2013
