Street art at auction

Du Street Art Aux Encheres

The Diamond Dealer, Fred le Chevalier, do you know?

Even if you've never heard of it, you've certainly seen the famous diamonds from the first and the romantic characters from the second on a street corner or on a wall.

Works of these street art references and around forty other artists will be auctioned under the hammer of Pierre Cornette de Saint Cyr on Saturday May 18 at Fouquet's, the legendary restaurant on the Champs Elysées.

Photo, design, contemporary drawings, in short resolutely modern works such as the portrait of Natalia Vodianova by Céline Leroy, that of Marilyn Monroe by Yvaral, the “I just wanna make love to you” garland by Emilie Schalck or the still life given up to date by Lorenzo Poccianti.

We like: an arty event for the benefit of the Indian Kids association, which helps orphan and homeless Indian children.

Exhibition Saturday May 18 from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., sale at 4 p.m.
