Shocking Des Pieces Elsa Schiaparelli Aux Encheres

The emblematic fashion designer from the 30s, who is at the origin of the famous shocking pink, was also the muse of Surrealist artists, such as Salvador Dali with whom she collaborated.

Iconic pieces from her wardrobe, works of art and antiques from her personal collection, in total 200 lots, will be put up for auction on  Thursday 23 January.

And for some background information, it’s her grand-daughter, actress Marisa Berenson, who decide to part with the treasures of Coco Chanel’s greatest rival. A good way to continue spreading her creative aura while awaiting the new collection of the House, taken over by Diego della Valle, the owner of Tod’s.
