Fiac without the queue !

La Fiac Sans Faire La Queue

The artsy event not to be missed has just begun at the Grand Palais. The big downside of this important rendezvous for a contemporary art buffs is that  the XXL queue is a real drag.

Our super alternative ? The outdoors course, like an artsy promenade in Paris, that let’s us discover installations, mostly monumental, exhibited in the middle of the Jardin des Tuileries,  Jardin des Plantes and Natural History Musuem.  Without forgetting the shacks of Japanese Tadashi Kawamata, nestled on the column of Place Vendôme. The great novelties? The Left Bank Seine embankments are also part of the artsy spots and river shuttles take us from one place to another.

For purists, works by 3 000 artists showcased under the nave, are  sont accessible now in just one click without budging from your sofa. How ? From the Fiac site, we get a free visit of all the  installations on our laptop,  smartphone or ipad with a 360° view. In short, it’s the FIAC for geeks…

Also discover the new up and coming artists under Pont Alexandre III in the framework of Slick.
