Hidden in a small dead-end nestled in the Marais, this doll museum lifts the curtain on Barbie’s wardrobe. Dating back to the 60’s, these outfits would make Carrie Bradshaw green with envy.
Because at the time, the mythical doll played the pin-up look in a striped black and white bathing suit or goody-goody socialite in a Jackie O’ suit. Retro outfits, which, at the demand of the museum, inspired new amazing creations to Magia2000. This duo of Italian designers, infatuated by the famous baby doll, has updated some of her mythical looks.
Unique creations, entirely hand-embroidered, worthy of haute couture and made to measure for the timeless 29 cm high model.
We like: displays mixing vintage dolls from private collections in costumes from previous eras and current models created just for the occasion. We dare you to notice the difference… bluffing !
