Watching a film under a star-studded sky? A chic idea for movie-goers who want to take advantage of warm summer nights.
We already mentioned the comedies projected every Monday on the Wanderlust terrace, well other amusing venues are morphing into outdoor cinemas.
First at the Prairie du Triangle of Parc de la Villette, the Parisian Central Park, where a giant screen displays every night from Wednesday to Sunday films on the theme of adolescence. First heart throbs, puberty and teenage crisis, the younger set is in the spotlight through a pretty selection of long running films. Dates to remember? A nos amours by Maurice Pialat on 31 July, Lolita by Stanley Kubrick on 17 August and Fame on 24 August.
The plus: it’s free on the lawn, but for more comfort, deckchairs and covers are available (7€).

In addition, the Cinéma au clair de lune festival under the aegis of Forum des images offers a giant nomad screen. Each films has its decor. Rendezvous at the Butte Montmartre on 31 July for the projection of Du Rififi chez les hommes, at parc Monsouris on 2 August for Les aventures extraordinaires d’Adèle Blanc-Sec. Last session: On connaît la chanson on Sunday 10 August.
Here also the session is free, just remember to bring a towel or blanket to sit on the grass.
