Breakfast at Café Charlot
A little neighborhood café that does not look like much but is in fact « the » breakfast hotspot to see and be seen. Before going back to their gallery, ad agency, showrooms and other trendy working venues, the ambiance setters of the «upscale and trendy Paris crowd » come here to chill...
Comparable to a new-age Flore, the idea is to look cool behind one's glasses, in front of an espresso while reading the left wing Libé paper-typical little Parisian dive we love for its « authentic » side : a grumpy waiter that does make exceptions and treats the regulars well (Hélène de Fougerolles, for example), "tartines" and Vogue at the counter, in a very brainy hip atmosphere.

we'll (my gorgeous wife and little 5 month old Charlotte Rose) be there Sunday 27th March...staying opposite for 10 days...beside ourselves and can't wait!
