The trendy chocolatier: Fouquet

On a festive holiday note, any Parisian worthy of this name sets out to find his favorite chocolates in order to have them waiting under the tree. And funnily enough each Christmas has its alleged favorite « chocolatier », depending on the trends of the moment. While some remain the blue chip values of the cocoa index ( J.P. Hévin, Pierre Hermé, Christian Constant, Patrick Roger), this year, the fashionable winner is without any doubt the famous and traditional Fouquet house, with its brand new superb boutique near the Marché Saint Honoré. On the gourmet program: its great big colorful metal boxes filled with stuffed chocolates and glazed chestnuts.
