Vendôme-Saint-Honoré
Small paradise of luxury and made in Paris couture, the place Vendôme and the rue Saint Honoré also convey the French touch and and a very special know-how... A chic yet anti-bling-bling agenda to take advantage of the most high-end « Fashion » enclave in the world without necessarily paying top prices.

A little tour at the Eglise Saint Roch
The anecdote... Be aware that you are here in the most « chic » and mundane of Parisian churches. Because one goes into this church more for the « anecdote than for its great beauty... Indeed, this is the « Parish of the Artists ». You must understand that it's in this cult enclave where the burial ceremony for the leading French couturiers and artists takes place... such as Yves Saint Laurent for example...
To see... The artist's community mass every Friday at 12:30pm !
A little history... Built in 1653, it was only in 1750 and 1770, that the interior of the Church was done by top artists, Falconet, Vien, Doyen, Boullée. Today still, this place shelters a great number of works of art, paintings and sculptures, recuperated from other churches destroyed during the tumult of the French Revolution. Each one of its inside chapels is a small museum. Saint-Roch is the memory keeper of a few important artistic events such as the creation of the Messe Solennelle by Berlioz on 10 July 1825.
Open daily from 8am to 7pm.
