Montorgueil
At the heart of the old Paris, this little corner of trendy paradise epitomizes the very quintessence of the capital: a chic mix of food and fashion. When the gourmet traditions of an area that was nicknamed the Stomach of Paris by Zola naturally cohabit near the enclaves of new wave fashion, in a typically Parisian atmosphere. An itinerary in these cobblestone pedestrian streets where the fat and the thin go to market in the gourmet grocery shops, bakeries from another century and hip concept stores. Montorgueil, represents a certain idea of Paris.

Comptoir de la Gastronomie
Walking down memory lane at the very core of a historical Paris! Impossible not to give in to the temptation of food-shopping when you come to this gastronomy counter where great wine labels are presented alongside foies gras in a boutique with such an « Art Nouveau » look that it feels like being in a movie set...
Like a changing room... One sits on the bistrot banquettes seats of the restaurant side to discover the house musts. If you like beans, go for the cassoulet...Traditional dishes are back in fashion!
Great buys: the house specialty: semi-cooked and raw foie gras at 120 EUR le kg. But also? A whole sliced wild salmon from the Baltic sea and an in-house Scottish salmon at 55 EUR the kg.
