Very English, all in wood paneling and red velvet, it is timeless and almost from another world because most of the time there is nobody there. This may be one of the reasons the service is so, attentive and nice as one rarely encounters. The real asset? The bar opens up onto a little courtyard-garden for a luncheon with a large Caesar salad (15 EUR) or to sip a tea. Here, the expression haven of peace takes on all its meaning.
