Montorgueil
At the heart of the old Paris, this little corner of trendy paradise epitomizes the very quintessence of the capital: a chic mix of food and fashion. When the gourmet traditions of an area that was nicknamed the Stomach of Paris by Zola naturally cohabit near the enclaves of new wave fashion, in a typically Parisian atmosphere. An itinerary in these cobblestone pedestrian streets where the fat and the thin go to market in the gourmet grocery shops, bakeries from another century and hip concept stores. Montorgueil, represents a certain idea of Paris.

Croissant stop at Stohrer
What's the very first thing one does when waking up in the Montorgueil district? Start the day at Stohrer, cult baker and pastry shop of the capital created when the Polish bride of King Louis XV came to court with her private baker, Nicolas Stohrer, who then opened shop in the area in 1730.
And take the time to admire the superb historic facade. Because, here, even the Queen of England has her habits and indulges in her sweet tooth... So take advantage of this croissant moment and remember that later on in the day, you will not dare indulge in the tea time snack temptation: mythical baba au rhum, love-well pastry, strawberry pie.
We also adore ... the idea of going there for a lunch snack amongst a serendipity of baguette- sandwiches to die of pleasure.
(Stohrer gives you a smiling welcome!)
