Strolling at the Marché des Enfants Rouges
More to see and be seen while picking up a few organic tomatoes or grabbing a quick bite at one of the stands! The local neighborhood crowd hangs out here to socialize and do their market. It's the oldest covered market of Paris and the highest density of trendy bobos in France.
We adore... the wild and friendly ambiance that takes place around the communal tables - restaurants, in much greater numbers than the vendors stalls.
Our favorite ? The Taeko Japanese gals for their great bentos and top notch chirachis (count 15 EUR).
The new kid on the market ! A concept-store for oils, great for small gifts. We also adore: the crêpes and waffle stall from Brittany, incredibly delicious, where one stands in line for a vegetable cone ! A totally veggie & organic crepe with a little bit of honey and goat cheese that all the local fashionistas come gobble down in light but gourmet sandwich mode that hits the spot !
