A new address that is sending all the trendies of the High Marais into a tizzy with its terrific sandwiches, nice terrace, über trendy clientele and its tiny, tiny prices...
We already knew their first historic house, divine (albeit too small) burger lair next to Etienne Marcel, filled with foodistas and street-food fans.
This Blend 2 hits the bull’s eye with a place that has the same Brooklyn feel, but more larger, ideally located right near Merci and rue de Bretagne.
Our ideal formula? Showing up at happy hour to drink fun beers (Spaceman, Sierra Vevada between 4 and 9€ ) or a glass of red wine (4,50€) along with a burger or a small portion of fried sweet potatoes (5€)
Still on the program: great house burgers with meat by Yves Marie Lebourdonnec (the kind of butchers, a tad revolutionary). Special kudos for their house bread baked like small briochés buns. Depending on your taste : burger with beef and smoked cheddar, mozza di buffala. Including their super home recipe: beef + onions caramelized with balsamic + bleu from the Auvergne + emmenthal from Savoie and spinach shoots.
And always: their cheese-cake and runny cookies (3 & 5€)
We like: they are open every day from 12am to 11pm.
