Heimat, the new hype « cantina »

Heimat

The latest bistronomic jewel of Pierre Jancou (already at the origin of La Crèmerie, Racines and Vivant) has just opened and is already the hot spot for trendies and foodies. This vaulted dining-cave is the new tasty cantina of Italian chef Michele Farnesi who sets the tone with a very well thought-out menu.

For 26€ (starter+dish or dish+dessert) or 34€ for all three, you can pick amongst his solar propositions: bulots sea snails, parnsips, dandelion or a generous calfhead terrine; fabulous rigatoni with rabbit stew or pollock fish, cabbage, cream of salsify; an amazing warm chocolate tart or a composition of beet, citrus fruit, farmer cheese.    In short, ultra tasty plates—a pure delight.

The plus: an anti-bling yet super trendy decor with furniture designed specially by contemporary artist Stéphane Henry.

Open lunch and dinner from Monday to Friday. In the evening, there is a set menu, 55€.
