La Recyclerie: DYI, street-food and bucolic happy hour

La Recyclerie

The former Gare Ornano of the Petite Ceinture commuter train network no longer exists. Instead, la Recyclerie, the new cultural center, bar and restaurant, is already in summer mode.

Heart throb for this hybrid space where one comes for DYI workshops, stylish wardrobe sales, a nice little dinner or great drinks.

The best time? 6pm. Ideal to meet up with the gals for a bucolic happy hour at one of the pastel colored picnic tables. L’Hibiscus (7€), a house cocktail made with vodka, bissap, vanilla and orange blossom, will make your head spin as much as the cool ambiance. The bucolic street food at happy hour changes every day with different food truck ops.

On the program: talks on collaborative economy, customizing clothes, cruising along the Seine and checking out the outdoor antique shops on Sunday, from world cuisine … In short, a 3 in 1 place that will soon be added to your to-go list.

We like: Saying without any shame that the Hibiscus is the new Cosmo, before ordering another one.

We love: Going back to this place where a smile is the only entrance ticket.
