Crashing a private evening at the Bristol bar
Thursday the 15th of September, a “Speakeasy” venue is underway at the Bristol in its festive and mundane bar (Natalia Vodianova and trendy night owls have their small habits there). Theme of the evening? The Gatsby spirit in “Prohibition” and “Roaring Twenties” mode. How to gain access there? Just be aware of the secret and show up at the back door entrance near the parking on 106 rue du Faubourg Saint Honoré. And if you played the game of the evening theme, by arriving decked out with a few feathers, a fringed dress or a pretty chic costume from the Twenties: you will be offered a free cocktail at the bar. Explanations: The House of Van Cleef & Arpels reinvents the saga of Noah’s Ark, staged by the talented Bob Wilson in a private salon with very special effects. Imagine 40 amazing window displays showcasing animal couples and imaginary creatures. Koalas, owls, elephants, unicorns, pink flamingos in diamond cuts, sapphires, opal fires and a thousand sparkles. A fantastic not-to-be-missed venue.
