A bar worthy of Havana

Havana cafe a

The promise? Havana in Paris… In just a few months, the mojito capital has become the new Eldorado of cool. Visit of Barack Obama, delocalisation of Chanel’s latest runway fashion show… vamos. All Summer long, Café A and its outdoor courtyard are taken on the allures of Little Havana. Corrugated iron shacks, arty frescos, messy vegetation, gas barrels reconverted in high tables, the former Récollets convent vibrate with Latinos rhythms.

Summer eats : fab Cuban sandwiches (wrap of marinated chicken, mint, cheddar, spices, 6€), slabs of cheese and charcuterie, frosty ice creams, and of course mojitos doped with Havana Club rum (10€). Cheers !

Its heart asset : the “muy caliente” ambiance that encourages flirtation. Tops also, DIY workshops to learn how to dose your home-made mojito (every Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 8€) and Caribbean brunch plates every week-end.

Plaza Havana, until the 30th of September 2016.
