The new buzzing table in Montorgueil: La Faille

La Nouvelle Table Cool Qui Buzze A Montorgueil La Faille

Are you looking for a restaurant to go out with the gang? We have found the ideal address for you, launched by two locals in the area, Sofiane and François Xavier already owners of the Marie Stuart nearby.

This new place is festive, laid back and very upstream. For the setting,  two designer pals, Nathan Brami and Pascal Sentis, the Daft Punk of architecture, tore down everything in order to stick to the idea of a raw decor with concrete and freestones along with a little vegetation for the bucolic touch.

The high added value of the place? You can choose your dish as full portion or semi-portion. Ideal to taste everything, share or adapt to twig appetites.

At the culinary piano, Thomas Rossi, the tattooed chef who comes from Ecole Ducasse and Miami,  play a fresh and fun cuisine.  We adore: the coddled egg with cream of lard totally addictive (9€), the raw tuna (6,50/ 13€), the crispy chicken like deluxe nuggets (11/22€). Cult dish: the butcher’s cut with a tip top pepper sauce (14/28€). For dessert : a cloud of farmer cheese like an airy cheese-cake (8€) and coconut Japanese pearls (7€).

Tops also: their terrific cocktails at affordable prices(10€)

Open Monday to Saturday until 2am, the place looks like a speakeasy when night falls
