A collection of couture burgers at Coquette

Chez Coquette

At Coquette, burgers are serious stuff. The new restaurant of Hotel W with urban chic influences has just launched its « collection. Burgers as chic and sophisticated as there are savory, to be tested urgently.

And with reason since chef Jimmy Desrivières has teamed up with Christian Thomas, founder of FastandFood, the blog of reference when it comes to street-food and the very up and coming baker Gontran Cherrier, who signs the buns. A winning trio at the origin of scandalously desirable burgers.

Starting with the classic (sesame bun, black Angus, comté, tomato, onion, pickles, bacon, house sauce) and our darling, the roquette (argula juice bun, steak of eggplant caviar, melted mozza, caramelized eggplants, cèpes mushrooms, tomato pesto), probably one of the best veggie burgers in Paris, that for once just might attract meat lovers.

And each month, a new burger is part of the show. In December, the Santa Claus Rossini (molasses syrup bun, black Angus, foie gras, pear) that could have you believe in Santa before tasting their stunning Fishman coming up soon (bun with squid ink, cray fish, tartare sauce). To be followed…

As for the fries?  Real nuggets: golden, crispy and delicious. Our advice? Order those with truffle, you can believe the experience of posh street-foodistas.

Heads up for foodies looking for gourmet experiences, discover the 5 dishes you must have tested in your life and like us bite into the best waffles and carrot cakes de Paris.
