Huabu, the Asian cantina of “Camion qui Fume”

Huabu

If you are you wild about sautéed noodles and crispy chicken, this is where it’s happening. Californian Kristin Frederick, burger pro and  launcher of Parisian food-trucks

(Le Camion qui fume, that’s her) has just launched into the Chinese street-food adventure, that is sure to be a success. So make a beeline for this hipster hole in the wall with its plastic trays, stylish banquette and neons on rue du Faubourg Poissonnière; here it’s “eat in” or “take out”. In short the, ideal spot for quick eats or a great TV dinner at home.

At the end of your chopsticks? An XXL sexy bowl (9,80€).  Just choose the base of your plate: rice or sautéed noodles (tops) and cover with your favorite meat. The crispy caramel chicken is a real killer that you will make you want to order more. For veggie girls, there is a really delicious tofu version.

Special kudos for nems… Also quite amusing, the wine (selected by the Petit Ballon collective) is served in a tea cup (4,50€).

We love: tasty Chinese food enhanced with good products and fresh herbs. Yummy! Avoid the puff pastry dessert (3,50€).

Open every day, lunch and dinner. Closed on Sunday.
