- Who goes there?
- It’s me the chicken in the pot ! I’m going for a pit roast tonight with my friends, wanna come ?
A bright blue facade, valet parking, bar set up on an open pit roast and communal table with a streamlined decor, all this facing the one and only Moulin de la Galette : weclome to Coq Rico, where Antoine Westermann (Drouant, mon Vieil Ami) threw his three stars up into the sky to come nest on his latest creation of 100% chicks, with chef Thierry Labé at the helm.
On the menu, fowl of every kind (and the very best): a delicious salad with only that special piece called «the Oyster », a tender chicken in the pot with its broth, an excellent Bresse chicken, an amazing free-range guinea fowl from Challans… and my God, what cooking perfection ! Without forgetting, naturally, delicate trimmings: creamy pilaf rice, golden macaronis, fab fries…
