A quick « Roman Holiday» ! One short night on the train, « Orient Express » style, to have breakfast in Rome !
One goes there... to enjoy la dolce vita ! A night of sleeper-train in the spirit of the « Orient Express » and having the luxury of taking one's time.
The idea? Jumping in the train at 7pm, settling into a sleeper cabin for two, enjoying a glass of Prosecco one to one and dinner in a real « wagon-restaurant » with a good bottle of wine and pasta just like the mamas make it... before being rocked to sleep by the train. Arrival the next day in the heart of Rome...
Jump into a taxi and head for Caffé Castroni, the trendy Roman equivalent of Le Flore to have a cappuccino, a coffee and a pastry at the bar. Mama Mia ! The only thing left is to go expiate one's sin of gluttony at the Vatican, just two steps away.
