For an intellectual moment in the spotlight, one rushes to discover the new exhibit of architectural designer Patrick Jouin at the Pompidou Center before going up the giant escalator to sip a glass of champagne at Georges, the restaurant designed by his mentor Starck for a spectacular view on the Paris rootops and to see « all » of Paris seated at the tables.
Who is Patrick Jouin ? He is the fashionistically very correct « designer » whose name must instantly be remembered: the man who initiated projects such as the Plaza Athénée bar, the Jules Verne of Alain Ducasse on top of the Eiffel Tower, as well as the Van Cleef & Arpels jewelry shop or Velibs' bikes...
