Musée Zadkine
Ossip Zadkine was a 19th century sculptor whose workshop is still nestled in a small courtyard just off the rue d'Assas, facing the Luxembourg gardens. One enters the atelier as though visiting an old friend, going through a (somewhat) secret passageway and a very lovely garden. The Zadkine museum presents bronze, marble and stone sculptures but also works on paper, gouaches, sketches and photographs. An extra plus: the entrance is free!
