How to mix cocktails ?
At the very chic Park Hyatt Vendôme, you can take a cocktail mixing course. Two Saturdays per month from noon to 2:30pm (in groups of 8 persons-140 euros), the head barman, Yann Daniel initiates you to the art of the shaker. Each course puts the spotlight on a different theme: rum (Mojito, Caïpirinha), vodka (Cosmopolitan, Apple Martini), champagne (Bellini, Rossini and Park Flower, one of the house cocktails won many awards), tequila (Margarita). In two hours, one learns how to concoct two cocktails and we leave with an Alessi cocktail kit and a cocktail guide. Cheers!
