Do it
Variations on espadrilles:
Strap sandals in natural leather and calf in heavy cotton canvas.
Multicolored leather strap sandals, braided leather gold and cord with a mix of color and a reddish fauve print.
Variations on the pouch bag
A big tote in monogrammed coated leather in a bright color-orange for example or a tote in charcoal or purplish python.
The bracelets
Don't hesitate to accumulate thin reed bracelets in different volumes, variations of materials (metal,
wood, resin) and color
In the hair, replace the scarf or the headband with a styled braiding.
Don't Do it
Dress and scarf in the same print - Afro chic entails daring to mix prints and colors.
But mixing prints does not imply the carnival look: one associates a strong print with motifs, either graphic or placed, to another-with a smaller or a more dense drawing.
The heel: you will loose the Afrochic spirit which is the mix of sophisticated and « roots ». If you really cannot do without heels, go for wooden wedge sandals.
The belt that will bring nothing to this type of silhouette and risks breaking the volume and the natural
fluidity of the dress.
