Haut Marais
22 April 2009 - Hotel du Petit Moulin
The bakery where Victor Hugo came to fetch his bread has become a hotel. Behind the superb 1900 facade, an exquisite labyrinth of stairs and lopsided perspectives signed Christian Lacroix, who quite obviously really enjoyed his decorator's mission: seventeen ambiances for seventeen lovely rooms, upholstered alternatively in toiles de Jouy, damask fabrics, more minimalist hues or flashy colors... A concentrate of Parisian chic. The small bar is a pure delight.
Rooms at 190, 250, 290 et 350 €, breakfast at 15 €.
