Of course there is Le Bon Marché, but the rue du Bac needed a good address with a touch of luxury, of small size. Such is the case since last Summer, thanks to Eric Denèle, who is crazy about fashion and off-beat talents which he showcases in his small boutique. His favorites?
Zac Posen, Kris Van Assche, Philip Lim, whose creations are enhanced by the work of Isabelle de Scitivaux in terms of decorating: the 1940's clothing racks are as handsome as the clothing dressing them up! This is not the place to come for a casual look, nor for chic basics but truly for a selective and very determined choice. The extra touch? Feeling as though one were being welcomed in a private living room, or a hotel suite, as the name indicates, elegantly sheltered by extra thick wall-to-wall carpeting.
