Gardening on the balcony

At home

Okay, the operation requires a little bit of motivation and perseverance but you must admit that a balcony with a little greenery is quite gratifying.

The ideal option for a small balcony: two potted plants and a herb garden.

For the plants, honeysuckle is a good choice because aside from its divine perfume, it resists quite well to cold weather. In the same vein, clinging jasmine. Apparently rose trees also do rather well in the city (not yet tested by us!).

When it comes to aromatic herbs, might as well forget basil that does not last when it is potted, better off with rosemary (ideal for vegetables grilled in the oven, and lamb, as well as other recipes), flat parsley and coriander.

At Truffaut, huge advantage: it is possible to buy on line and to be delivered (count 30 € of investment) www.truffaut.com
