A great kids-friendly brunch in the 11th

Brunch of Le Ptit Pinard with bread, butter, jams combo, scrambled eggs or houmous, delicious gravlax salmon, a terrific sausage, fluffy pancakes or killer French toast, bowl of farmer cheese and granola along with beverages including coffee, tea or a house hot chocolate and freshly squeezed orange juice

A bar with natural wines, a lunchtime cantina, a landmark to have lunch as a family on the weekend, Le P’tit Pinard, is everything at once. This super multi-faceted address made its arrival a few months ago near Square Maurice Gardette.

The place

At the origin, LeP’tit Pinard made a name for itself in the Sentier for its well sourced bottles. Charlotte et Julien were looking for a large space to add to their bar a real kitchen with the ambition of concocting nice little house dishes. It’s now a done thing with this charming v2 installed in a trendy part of Eastern Paris decorated in person by the new young owners: wood tables and bistro chaises, freestone, glassed-in kitchen and view on the bucolic interior courtyard.

On the programme of treats

A 100 good humour and home-made brunch served every Saturday and Sunday for €27. It starts off with the classic bread, butter, jams combo in a marvellous retro plate. Then, it’s up to you to make the right choice: scrambled eggs or houmous, delicious gravlax salmon, a terrific sausage, fluffy pancakes or killer French toast.

To be ended on a high note with a bowl of farmer cheese and granola along with beverages including coffee, tea or a house hot chocolate and freshly squeezed orange juice … Unless you choose from the cellar a nice little Sancerre Domaine Reverdy Terre de Maimbray

(€6) or a Petit Noir de Bourgogne Antoine Petitprez (€)7.50).

The added truc plus

Everything has been planned for kids with a €15 formula that includes scrambled eggs and houmous + pancakes or French toast + hot chocolate + orange juice, without forgetting the colouring corner with everything on deck.
