A far cry from the traditional log, the Xmas cake of the Mandarin Oriental showcases very design lines. Shaped like an 8, a wink to the lucky number in China, it features the curves of an auto racing track, passion of Pierre Mathieu, the young and talented pastry chef.

We like: the crunchy nutty chocolate that has a different texture from creamy chocolate and the mousse of black praline chocolate, all sprinkled with Streusel chips… The ultimate dream of a cocoa-addict!

Available at the Camélia restaurant and at the Comptoir des Pâtisseries pastry counter of the hotel from 16 to 25 December 2013
