This year, on the occasion of its 20th anniversary, Nuit Blanche is pulling out all the stops in the capital (and even around!) with its set of free and wildly arty events. All that remains is to find your favorite partner and concoct a small personalized program: rather in cabaret mode , improvised theater in a museum or downright performance in a trendy swimming pool ? See you on the night of Saturday October 1st…

A glam performance at Molitor

Good news ! This Saturday, you don't need to explode your PEL to access the coveted Molitor swimming pool , which inaugurates its first participation in Nuit Blanche . There, everything is free… but of course, splashing out of the question!

The team of Annie Sperling , the fashionable American AD who carefully curated the show Une balançoire pour Molitor , awaits us in a big fiesta atmosphere . A hyper-colored show that surfs on the vibe of video art with a maximum of sound and insane light effects. Highlight of the show, the performance danced by the burlesque queen Kitten de Ville .

Meet at the Molitor swimming pool, 2 avenue de la porte Molitor, Paris 16th. Shows from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. Free admission, more info online .

An olé-olé cabaret at the Châtelet theater

What if we had a cabaret? Dita Von Teese does not have a monopoly on stripping . The proof with Kitty Hartl's Cabaret New Burlesque troupe , which exceptionally arrives at the Théâtre du Châtelet for a stunning show.

On the program: Fellinian divas on the stage with satiny sheath dresses , feather boas and sequins galore that chain ultra-glam numbers. Straddling contemporary striptease and burlesque , the five heroines sublimate the art of undressing with a touch of empowerment, without ever falling into the vulgar.

Burlesque cabaret at the Théâtre du Châtelet , 1, place du Châtelet, Paris 1er. Shows every hour from 8 p.m. to midnight. FREE ENTRANCE.

An immersive concert in front of Monet's Water Lilies

Scoop! The Musée de l'Orangerie unveils its most exclusive event of the year for Nuit Blanche : attend a classical music concert by pros from all over the world in the famous oval room.

It is in front of Monet 's Water Lilies that the musicians of the Kronos Quartet perform their most beautiful versions of Beethoven , Haydn or Germaine Taillefer accompanied by the voices of Iranian Aftab Darvihi and Canadian Nicole Lizée . The perfect excuse to sleep off until 4 a.m. and enjoy pure musical enjoyment.

Night of the Quartet at the Orangerie, Jardin des Tuileries, Paris 1er. Open from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. Free admission, limited seating available.

A night conference at the Luxembourg Museum

Better than a lecture at the Sorbonne , we rush Saturday evening to the Luxembourg Museum for a nocturnal walk with historians who guide us through the Mirror of the World exhibition , masterpieces from the Dresden Art Cabinet which presents German collectibles.

The appointment is made in the museum, which has been rebuilt into a veritable cabinet of curiosities, for a tour of the route where large shells, kitsch crockery, Japanese porcelain or insane daggers worthy of Game of Thrones are on display . Cool: attend the mini show of actors Lény Guissart and Nicolas Mathieu at the end of the guided tour.

Meet at the Luxembourg Museum, 19 rue de Vaugirard, Paris 6th. Open from 7:30 p.m. to midnight. Free admission, limited seating available. More info online .
