The 9 sexiest spots in Paris Plages

Paris Plage

Did you dream about it? The beach is coming back to Paris from July 8th to September 3rd. From the Solférino Bridge to the Alexandre III Bridge on the left bank, and from the Sully Bridge to the Pont Neuf on the right bank, not forgetting the Bassin de la Villette, Paris Plage will delight young and old throughout the summer! The program includes a variety of free activities: pétanque, paddleboarding, an outdoor library, not to mention martial arts classes or life-size board games... Here's a recap of the coolest spots.

The New Swimming Area

In the 19th arrondissement, a giant swimming area has just been set up for the enjoyment of both young and old. Yes, the 3 pools have been designed for everyone, with different depths. No need to struggle with the towel changing method anymore, as bungalows will allow all swimmers to change into their finest swimwear for a dip.

After a refreshing swim, showers are also available. And to top it off, treat yourself to an ice cream or a cool drink before heading out.

Opening hours: 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Access from Quai de la Loire on the left bank of Bassin de la Villette, downstream from the Moselle Footbridge (Metro: Riquet on line 7, Laumière on line 5, Bus: Riquet 54) © Ville de Paris

Water Sports

This year, there are plenty of options when it comes to water sports. For a canoeing or kayaking session, head to Parc Rives de Seine, put on a helmet, and paddle away at full speed. Looking for something more unique? This year, Paris Plage has chosen the theme of French Polynesia, so you can navigate small canoes not only in the Bassin de la Villette but also in other areas! It will also be possible to do paddleboarding, pedal boating, water biking, and for children, take a little boat ride. All of this will take place at the temporary marina formed by a set of pontoons.
