Au Petit Tonneau is probably one of the most Frenchy restaurant in Paris. Situated near Invalides, this lovely spot will transport you to another era, with its very cliché decor and its old school French recipes. We almost expect the iconic actor Jean Gabin to come in and order something...
This small yet very famous bistrot opened more than thirty years ago. The chef, Vincent Neveu, is coming straight from the Bristol kitchens, which leaves no doubt regarding the quality of the cooking served in there.
We eat: an exquisite sole, a wonderful chocolate mousse, a breathtaking "tarte tatin".
Kudos for: the ambiance. The red and white square pattern on the tablecloth. French wines to die for.
