A snacking pit stop in the middle of the Golden Triangle? Rush over to Le Petit Flottes (ex-Flottes and go). The street-food offshoot of the eponymous cult brasserie has hiked the sandwich to star rank that receives all the honors.
Outstanding breads kneaded the old fashioned way by a professional baker, ingredients selected from small producers and many different recipes: a good way of transforming a quick nibble into a chic picnic, without spending a wad (sandwiches starting at 6 €)
A quick look? The Cocorico in a traditional baguette (marinated chicken, glazed tomatoes, arugula, tomato mayo), O Sole Moi nestled in a round country bread (San Daniele ham, marinated artichokes, parmesan…) and variations with ciabiatta bread and bagels that are just as good as those in New York.
The plus ? A wide array of sweet house delights (rice pudding, muffin with Nutella spread, tiramisu…).
Open Monday to Friday from 9am to 7pm. Saturday starting at 10am and Sunday starting at 11am.
